About
The story behind the kitty
We built Kittyledger because tracking receipts shouldn't require a finance degree.
A tail of spreadsheet fur-stration
If you've ever managed petty cash, you know the drill. Receipts pile up in a drawer. Someone asks for expense reports. You spend hours squinting at faded thermal paper, typing numbers into spreadsheets, and hoping you didn't miss anything.
Enterprise expense tools exist, but they're built for corporations with dedicated finance teams. They charge per user, require training, and come with complexity that small businesses and freelancers simply don't need.
We wanted something different: a tool that's as simple as sending a photo to a friend. No apps to install. No accounts to manage. Just snap a receipt, send it, and move on with your day.
We're not kitten around
We chose Telegram because it's already on your phone. No new app to download. No learning curve. If you can send a photo, you can use Kittyledger.
Telegram also makes team collaboration dead simple. Add the bot to a group chat, and everyone can contribute receipts to the same ledger. No per-user fees, no seat limits, no admin headaches.
Paws for transparency
We believe in simple, predictable pricing. Our subscription plans give you a clear monthly credit allowance — no surprise fees, no per-user charges, no hidden costs.
Start with 20 free credits every month. Upgrade when you need more, downgrade when you don't. Manage everything through the bot with the /plan command.
How we build
Our purr-inciples
Simplicity first
No app to download. No account to create. Just open Telegram and start sending receipts. We believe the best tools are the ones that get out of your way.
Pay for what you use
Start free with 20 credits every month. Upgrade only when you need more. Bonus credits carry over between months. Simple as that.
Transparency by default
Simple, predictable pricing. Know exactly what you get each month. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Built for real workflows
We built Kittyledger because we needed it ourselves. Every feature exists to solve a real problem, not to pad a feature list.
Built by
Warpgate Ventures
We build practical tools that solve real problems. Kittyledger is our answer to the question: “Why is expense tracking still so painful?”
Why the cat theme? 🐱
“Feed the kitty” is an old expression for contributing to a shared fund or petty cash pool. It felt fitting for a tool that helps teams track shared expenses. Plus, who doesn't love a good cat pun?
